General Envision Realty Services
History
Envision Realty
Services was developed by Craig Sheehy, one of the foremost experts in
green buildings in commercial real estate in the nation. He was the
lead person involved in the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building, a 950,000
square foot high rise in Sacramento, CA, and turned that into one of
the greenest buildings in the world. He also helped implement a
$500,000,000 national green building fund focusing on new development
and retrofitting existing buildings to LEED Standards.
Envision Realty
Services has become one of the largest LEED Consulting companies in the
nation with 100+ buildings and over 40 million square feet of office
space under contract to date.
Envision Realty
Services' expertise is in our ability to take any existing building,
and with low and no-cost measures, show ownership and management how
they can attain LEED certification.
Personal Profile
Mr. Sheehy started Envision Realty
Services in 2007 as he felt there was a growing and unmet demand for
properties that are built or retrofitted to be resource-efficient, that
are equipped with advanced energy-saving technologies and that have
policies and programs in place to achieve LEED Certification from the
U.S. Green Building Council.
Craig was responsible
for the implementation of Thomas Properties Group $500,000,000 national
Green Building Fund and he has been traveling North America promoting
his environmental project, Greening Your Building Toward the
Bottom Line. Craig's first building, the Joe Serna Jr. - Cal/EPA
Headquarters Building in Sacramento, CA, was recognized as one of the
most energy efficient high-rises in the U.S. through Energy Star and
was awarded the Platinum Certification through the U.S. Green Building
Council's LEED-EB program. The building was also the 2004 winner of
BOMA Internationals TOBY Earth Award.
Craig has become a
sought-after speaker in the real estate industry, educating the
industry on Green Development, Green Strategies and low and no cost
operational efficiencies that can be incorporated into commercial
buildings. Real-life, state-of-the-art green practices not only improve
our impact on the environment, they also improve our net operating
income.
Mr. Sheehy was
appointed Vice-Chair of Governor Schwarzenegger's Real Estate Industry
Leadership Council where his role is incentivizing the private Real
Estate sector into incorporating energy efficiency and green buildings
into their projects. Craig is chair of the Steering Committee for the
California Sustainability Alliance and an Advisory Board Member of
Eco-Zone. He is Immediate Past President of BOMA International's
Pacific Southwest Region and immediate Past Chair of the BOMA Energy
Efficiency Program (BEEP).
Mr. Sheehy graduated from San Diego
State University with a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration.
