Data centers are operated by two entities: Operations/Facilities and Information Technology (IT). Power, cooling and construction is owned by Operations/Facilities and IT is responsible for the IT equipment, software, processes and service delivery to customers or business units.

Data Center optimization can only be achieved by a synergy between these two entities; Envision Realty Services serves as the catalyst for this synergy by providing a list of goals that will help achieve increased optimization through 3 facets:

1) Electrical and mechanical engineering improvements leading to improved cooling, power control and building systems

2) Incremental data center process improvements that do not require huge capital investments
