Craig Sheehy
Mr. Sheehy started Envision
Realty Services in 2007 as he felt there was a growing
and unmet demand for properties that are built or retrofitted
to be resource-efficient, that are equipped with advanced
energy-saving technologies and that have policies and programs
in place to achieve LEED Certification from the U.S. Green
Building Council.
Craig was responsible for the implementation
of Thomas Properties Group $500,000,000 national Green Building
Fund and he has been traveling North America promoting his
environmental project, Greening
Your Building Toward the Bottom Line. Craig's first building,
the Joe Serna Jr. - Cal/EPA Headquarters Building in Sacramento,
CA, was recognized as one of the most energy efficient high-rises
in the U.S. through Energy Star and was awarded the Platinum
Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED-EB
program. The building was also the 2004 winner of BOMA Internationals
TOBY Earth Award.
Craig has become a sought-after speaker in
the real estate industry, educating the industry on Green
Development, Green Strategies and low and no cost operational
efficiencies that can be incorporated into commercial buildings.
Real-life, state-of-the-art green practices not only improve
our impact on the environment, they also improve our net
operating income.
Mr. Sheehy was appointed Vice-Chair of Governor
Schwarzenegger's Real Estate Industry Leadership Council
where his role is incentivizing the private Real Estate sector
into incorporating energy efficiency and green buildings
into their projects. Craig is chair of the Steering Committee
for the California Sustainability Alliance and an Advisory
Board Member of Eco-Zone. He is Immediate Past President
of BOMA International's Pacific Southwest Region and immediate
Past Chair of the BOMA Energy Efficiency Program (BEEP).
Mr. Sheehy graduated from San Diego State University
with a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration.
